On the other hand, silhouettes against the sun is something seen very commonly. i would rather like to see if you had worked a lil more on your positioning so that the sun was behind ur heads instead of in the gap where it is right now. it would have created a more romantic impact, and also you would have avoided the flare. Also i notice that your camera was tilted so you definitely need to straighten this photo. Also a different/closer perspective might have worked better here. All in all its a good shot.
